Black teas (or red according to the traditional Chinese color classification) owe their name and color to the high level of oxidation to which the leaves are subjected during processing. It is precisely during oxidation that the leaves "color" dark red. These full-bodied and persistent teas are considered the "Five o'clock teas" by autonomy. You can choose between Chai, Lapsang Souchong and Malawi.

Wulong tea

Blue-green teas, better known as wulong (oolong) teas, include a series of teas whose leaves undergo partial oxidation which, depending on the intensity, allows us to obtain extremely different products. We will therefore have wulong teas close to green teas and others, with darker shades, very similar to red (or oxidized black) teas. These teas originate from the Fujian region of China, where they began to be produced about 400 years ago. Today the most characteristic wulong teas come from Fujian, Guangdong and Taiwan. Particularly diuretic, with a low theine content and truly unique organoleptic characteristics, they are ideal teas at any time of the day.

Green Teas

Green tea, known for its antioxidant properties, is the most widespread and appreciated drink in the East. Thanks to its processing, it maintains a high percentage of polyphenols. Green tea leaves retain their natural green color because they are not subjected to any process that alters their chemical properties. Freshly harvested leaves are treated with heat which inhibits the enzymes responsible for oxidation. This stabilization can be dry – in special concave pan-like containers – air or steam. The subsequent steps are very different depending on the product you want to obtain. Afterwards, the leaves are dried and ready for packaging. You can choose between Kukicha, Zagara and Green Lychee
